6mm sea glass and 3mm moissanite ring in silver, yellow, white or rose gold engagement or special occasion

sea glass (6mm face width approx.) between two 3mm moissanite stones (0.09cts which is 0.10cts diamond equivalent very good quality) upon a hammered 2mm band

set with an open back - this prevents water marks unlike a closed back which is not available on my website - this is because with a closed back when washing hands with time tiny particles get trapped underneath the sea glass leaving dark marks - this is unavoidable with any sea glass ring that has a closed back

we currently have pale aqua sea glass available for this design so it will not be the deep shades shown on these photos - due to nature and what we find the shade of aqua does vary

moissanite is a lab created alternative to diamonds

moissanite has more fire than a diamond and it is very hard to tell the difference. moissanite is harder than sapphires and rubies

please note that it is a common misconception that white gold looks silver in coloration

many high street jewellers rhodium plate white gold (making it look silver)

9ct white gold actually has a naturally dull very slightly yellow coloration compared to silver - this difference is noticeable when placed next to/near silver

If you want it to look more silver in coloration please opt for the rhodium option on the drop down menu and we will then give it a high quality plating of rhodium

18 carat white gold has a grey coloration compared to silver again please opt for the rhodium plating for a more silver coloration

we strongly recommend that you don’t mix up the carats of white gold with wedding band and engagement ring/rings next to it - often people don’t like the colour difference when next to each other - it is an obvious difference in colour when placed next to one another
